About Us
Our Origins
We started as a small shop in Yorktown in 2008 only dealing in reptiles and aquatics. We worked primarily in the store, but attended reptile shows on weekends. Since then we have expanded to two bigger locations that has allowed us to carry a variety of dog, cat, avian, small animal and more reptile and aquatics products, as well as the animals. The original store is still located in Yorktown (4324 George Washington Hwy Yorktown, Virginia) and our new branch is in Gloucester (6555 Market Dr. Gloucester, Virginia). We still attend nearly all of the Repticon Shows across the East Coast, but run our own local Exotic Pets Show thanks to the support of our community.
Our Current Projects
When we first started out we only bred ball pythons and crested geckos in store do to our size. Since our store expansion we have increased the variety of animals we are able to breed in-house allowing us to offer locally-bred animals to our hometown community and now to our online community. We now breed ball pythons, leopard geckos, fat-tailed geckos, white-lined geckos, Brazilian rainbow boas, Blood pythons, Burmese pythons, and crested geckos just to name a few. This year we have started new breeding projects with reticulated pythons, hognoses, Milk snakes, and Columbian red-tailed boas that we are very excited about! Breeding our own animals has allowed us to provide the best quality and health that we can achieve to the families and people around us. We pride ourselves on being here for our community whether it's getting something you need or answering questions on animal care.
